Incredible 3D Scans Allow Parents To See Foetus Smilling And Moving In Stunning Detail

Hello baby! Incredible 3D scans allow parents to see foetus SMILING and MOVING in stunning detail

Most expectant parents only see their child for the first time as a hazy blob on a hospital screen.

However, cutting-edge imaging software has now made it possible to map a fetus in incredibly fine detail.

The software takes a conventional 3D ultrasound scan and adds colour, skin texture, lighting and shadows.

The technology gives unparalleled clarity and allows parents to see the face of their child before it is born.

There are also versions that are 4D, 5D, and 6D, allowing parents to view their unborn child grinning and kicking in real time.

They might even make a DVD out of it.

Doctors may now identify issues with a fetus much earlier thanks to the software.

It also removes background details that can often obscure the foetus.

It has been developed by Dr Bernard Benoit of the Princes Grace Hospital, Monaco.

He is well-known throughout the world for concentrating on the introduction of cutting-edge ultrasound technologies.
