After previously having twins, a Danish mother is now expecting triplets! Welcoming twins in 2018, Michella Meier-Morsi and Mark Morsi thought they were done having kids. But life had other plans for the Danish couple.
It was when Michella went in for what was supposed to be a routine ultrasound that she found out she would not be having just one or two babies, but three!
She said she knew she’d be expecting more than one baby after the technician asked if multiples ran in her or her husband’s family.
Michella gave birth to the three boys on January 15. They were all perfect and their weights were amazing. They weight 2278, 2626 and 2775 grams, respectively. On average, newborn babies weigh 7.5lb, but between 5.5 and 10lb is considered normal.
Are identical twins or triplets always the same sex?
Because identical twins or triplets share genetic material, they are always the same sex.
Identical multiples start as one egg and then split, so whatever chromosome combination is present at fertilization is the sex of all multiples.
Well done to the lady! She’s still smiling after twins and growing nicely. Much love & respect 🙏 🙌 Better than I could ever be. ❤
